New Skin is a project aimed to exalt the efficiency of materic research in jewellery design. i.Design EFFIX is the protagonist of this collection: a mortar featuring high strength and enhanced aesthetic properties, developed by Italcementi Group at the Kilometro Rosso Laboratories (Bergamo).
It’s extremely lightweight and can be customised in different colours: thanks to these reasons, i.Design EFFIX is perfect to open new creative paths for décor elements design.
The starting point of this project is to associate i.Design EFFIX with a new kind of aesthetic that comes alive in three products with three different skins that can exalt the material’s properties: thin surfaces that recreate the waving movement of a fabric and 3d textures that jump out from the soft knit weave and from the texture of the embossed leather.
